Entries are now open for the 2026 Australian International Beer Awards — one of the largest annual beer competitions in the world.

Breweries and cideries from Australia and overseas can now submit their beers to compete for 14 major trophies and 24 category trophies.

For 2026, the Awards have updated their style categories to align with the latest US Brewers Association guidelines — introducing eight new beer styles and refining existing ones to reflect current brewing trends.

Judging will take place ahead of the gala awards dinner on May 14 in Melbourne, just before the Pint of Origin festival.
