Across the ditch in New Zealand, one of the country’s biggest beer festivals is searching for its ultimate beer fan.

Beervana has launched a competition to find the biggest craft beer lover in Australia and New Zealand ahead of this year’s festival in Wellington.

Now in its latest edition, Beervana has built a reputation as one of the premier beer events in the Southern Hemisphere — bringing together breweries, beer lovers and industry figures from across New Zealand, Australia and beyond.

The competition celebrates the culture around craft beer, recognising the people who travel for festivals, chase rare releases, explore breweries and genuinely live and breathe beer culture.

The winner will receive a VIP Beervana experience, with the campaign also helping shine a spotlight on New Zealand’s thriving independent beer scene.
