Last week the beer world joined the global celebration of International Women’s Day, recognising the incredible contribution women make to the brewing industry.
One organisation leading the charge is the Pink Boots Society — a global network supporting women and non-binary people working in the fermented beverage industry through education, mentorship and career opportunities.
Founded in 2007, the organisation now has thousands of members worldwide and raises funds for scholarships, training and professional development in brewing and fermentation.
Each year around International Women’s Day, breweries across the world take part in Pink Boots collaboration brews, celebrating the creativity and impact of women in beer.
And here at Beer Down Under, we proudly support the women shaping the future of the industry — from brewers and maltsters to marketers, educators and bar staff.
Because the beer world is stronger, more creative and more inclusive when everyone has a seat at the bar.
