There’s some big movement on the South Coast beer scene this week.
While the closure of Bass Point Brewing in Shellharbour was sad news for local beer lovers, sometimes one door closes and another one opens.
Stoic Brewing, based in Gerringong, has stepped in to acquire the Bass Point site and expand their presence on the South Coast Ale Trail.
Stoic has been building a strong reputation for quality beers and a friendly brewery experience, and this move gives them a second location to continue growing their brand in the region.
For the local craft beer community, it’s exciting to see another independent brewery stepping up and keeping a brewery venue alive.
And here at Beer Down Under, we’re super excited to see Stoic Brewing growing their presence on the South Coast.
Because when local breweries grow, the whole beer community benefits.
